Saturday 03rd October 2020

Portland Town Reserve Team Manager Steve Prout has stepped down from his position of with immediate effect handing the torch to club hero Dan Lewis who steps up from his position as Third Team Assistant Manager.

Following a string of disappointing results this season and the desire to retire at the end of the season much loved Steve Prout ended his tenure with immediate effect.
chairman Andy Barber said he was sad at the decision but understands. "Steve's a true gentleman and we all love him at the club, giving Dan Lewis the opportunity was a no brainer, no one knows the club better than Dan, hes loved by all involved and we hope to kick start his new venture with a win at home to Marnhull this weekend."

Dan Lewis said hes excited for this new challenge and hopes to restructure the way things are done in the team. Adding a few new faces to the team was his goal and climbing off the bottom of the league was his number one goal......

We wish Dan every success in his new role!
